Hi again, I’m Celeste, a generalist designer who works across product, UX, and service. I like taking fuzzy problems, talking to the people involved, and turning the findings into something we can actually build and use. I recently got my Bachelor's in Industrial Design with a Minor in Computer Science at NUS and my training has shaped me into a versatile hands-on designer, who adapts quickly to different contexts.
I care a lot about Human–AI interaction and envision a future where AI enables us to do our best work and not replace us. For me, that means being clear about when and why we adopt AI and an AI-in-the-loop workflow. I’m drawn to use cases where AI preserves our humanity rather than supplant it.
I value deep research and immersive ethnography to design things that work for people, starting with being present. On most days I’m happiest with a pen in hand, sketching street corners or people on the train. It slows me down and brings me joy to be truly immersed in an environment. I have been told that my superpower is my ability to take complex ideas, digest them, and distill them into easy-to-understand visuals, be it concept diagrams or even illustrations. When my hands need a different rhythm, I crochet or knit. Slow craft keeps me patient and reminds me that there's a real tangible side to many of the digital interactions I build at work.
